(Faux) Books/Posters/Records
In the Secondary Occupants Project the faux books, records and posters are meant to be the reading, listening and viewing materials of the unamed character at the center of the project. Collectively the books are titled Volumes from an Imagined Intellectual History of Animals Architecture and Man. All of them connect in one way or another to the central animal/architecture concern of the project.

I have yet to make the fully archival versions of the record covers. I'm currently experimenting with having them printed following a standard 12 inch jacket template and then folding them up and gluing them. All of the records are on the fictional Hampshire University Records label. They are inspired, in part, by Ronald Clyne's work for Smithsonian Folkways in the 60s and 70s. -
